IT'S MY STAMPIN' UP! ANNIVERSARY

Today is my 10th year anniversary with Stampin' Up! and I am still hanging in there. It has been a wonderful 10 years, beginning with those heady early days where it was go go go and SU was taking over my life. Times have changed and I made those changes and am happy with where my little business has taken me over the years.

I have had so much fun creating cards but more than anything meeting and making new friends along the way has been the best part of my business. I will keep going with my demonstratorship for as long as there are people out there wanting to purchase from me.

I'm looking forward to attending On Stage this Saturday April 16th, down at the Gold Coast here in Australia and to catching up with all my SU friends. It's a one day event and a brand new way of showcasing the exciting new product and ideas that Stampin' Up! has to offer.

Next week sees me head off on an overseas holiday and I am away for almost six weeks. during this time you will be able to purchase product from my Demonstrator Business Website, which I will be activating on  the weekend. I hope to post the link on my blog before I leave.

But before I go, here is a card that I made for a friend's birthday which is not too far away.

Colours I have used are Bermuda Bay and Whisper White. The stamp is Vivid Vases available from the current catalogue and the greeting is from a retired Stampin' Up! set and unfortunately I cannot remember it's name. Papers used are from retired paper packs and the the Framelit is from Apothercary Accents also retired. As you can see, I have been trying to use my stash up as my collection needs reducing :) You will also see that I actually made a matching envelope using the Envelope Punch Board. This is a marvellous way to utilise all those papers you have in your stash, I love making envelopes they are so easy.

Happy Stamping Everyone.

IT'S MY PARTY

I have had my Stampin' Up! Goodies out to play with this week and created a cute Happy Birthday card showcasing products from the It's My Party Suite in the new 2016 Occasions CatalogueThis is such a fun card and suitable for any age.

The Balloon Bouquet Punch co-ordinates perfectly with this range of papers and adds dimension to the card. Not only have I used it for the pretty coloured balloons seen on the card,  I have also used it to create the embossed background. Here's a close up of my background.

Greetings and banner used on the card are from the Number of Years Stamp Set and Framelits Bundle also featured in the Occasions Catalogue.

If you wish to purchase any of the Stampin' Up! product used on this card or from the 2016 Occasions Mini, please contact me to place your order.

WINTER WONDERLAND DSP CHRISTMAS CARD CLASS

My second class of the year is done and dusted and hopefully the ladies enjoyed themselves and had fun creating.  Now it's time to share some of cards that I created.

Firstly here is a photo of all the cards I created using Stampin' Up! Winter Wonderland Designer Series Papers. All the ladies in the class were given a 6x6 sample pack of the paper including a 6x6 sheet of the Black Shimmer card in the current Holiday Mini. Please click on the images to see a larger view.

The cards plus the tags below were all created with a 1/4 share of 6x6 DSP Winter Wonderland.

This is one of the cards that the ladies created in the class. The greeting is from the Oh What Fun stamp set and the frame was created using the Lots Of Labels Framelits set, Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Sleigh Ride Edgelits dies and the trees were punched with Tree Punch.

Here is the second card. Once again I have used the Sleigh Ride Edgelits dies and the beautiful Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The snowflake from is from the snowflake Elements embellishments and has been embossed with white EP and Dazzling Diamonds EP. The greeting is from the Jingle All the Way stamp set.

Thank you for looking and if you would like to know more about the products used on any of the cards, please get in touch.

FOUR FEATHERS

So I have been debating over whether to get the Four Feathers Bundle for sometime now and came to the conclusion that I needed it for my upcoming class "All That Glitters". Yesterday I sat down and played with it for the first time and this morning this card has gone off to a customer as a Thank You for her order.

I love the colour combos on this card, they are sort of zingy and fresh ...  Pool Party, Summer Starfruit and Island Indigo. I used stamps from Four Feathers of course, Tape It, Gorgeous Grunge and the greeting was from Six Sided Sampler. All accessories including the Feathers Framelit, are from Stampin' Up!

Contact me for more info or if you would like to place an order or perhaps you might like to book into my "All That Glitters" class being held on Friday 8th May and also again on Saturday 8th May.

IRRESISTIBLY YOURS - DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

There is something about having new goodies to play with isn't there? They inspire you to try them out and try to create something a little different. I love this new Sale-a-bration, Irresistibly Yours  DSP it is so much fun to play with.

Can you spot the paper? No! Well here it is.

This white paper has a glossy white pattern which is perfect for colouring using a variety of techniques ... sponging, brayering, spritzing to name a few.

I used two  stamp sets to create this card ... Flower Patch (plus co-ordinating Flower Fair Framelits) and Woodgrain background. There is also a brand new embossing folder used called Spring Flowers and it co-ordinated beautifully with the DSP. Accessories used included Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Linen Thread, Pearl Basic Jewels and Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. Colours used included  Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Soft Suede, So Saffron, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay.

Note some items used on this card may be retired, please check your catalogue or contact me. The background for this card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.

Wouldn't you just love some of the beautiful "Irresistibly Yours" Designer Series Paper ... then all you have to do is place an order with me to the value of $90.00 to receive your packet absolutely free. Can't wait to hear from you.

FLOWER PATCH

While the cat's away the mice will play .... hubby has gone away overnight for work and this morning I have sat down, had a play and made a card.

I am loving the new Flower Patch set from Stampin' Up! with it's matching framelits, the framelits just make card creating and scrapbooking so much easier and quicker.

Amazingly I created this card in a little over an hour. Pinterest is just so wonderful for inspiration, go to Pinterest.com to join, you will love it. You can see a card and be inspired and then put your own slant on it, which is what I have done this morning. Actually my card has ended up looking nothing like the original, if you compare them both, you will see that I have basically just used the layout of the other card sort of like a sketch.

Stamp sets that I used were all from Stampin' Up! .. Flower Patch, Work of Art and Amazing Birthday. Colours were Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana. I have used the Starburst and Flower Fair Frametlis. You will notice some pretty coloured Rhinestone Jewels .. they were coloured using the new Coastal Cabana Stampin' Blendabilities ... pretty ... I love them! The twine was a freebie from Sale-a-bration and the embossing folder is the new Large Polka Dots folder .. lots of element on my card.

Okay if you are inspired by my card, please feel free to case .. but you will need the SU goodies to create it. Contact me to place your order, I'm always here to help.

Cheers
