Besides cooking, cleaning, gardening and other household duties during this stay at home period in our life on this planet; I have found time to do a little creating. I'm so happy that I have a hobby to fall back on otherwise I think I would go around the bend!

These cards were created with the Tropical Oasis Suite and are now on the merry little way to friends and family around town. Hopefully they will brighten their day!

Colours used are Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Garden Green and Old Olive. If you like what you see and you would like to order any of the products, just drop me an email.

Today I held my second Cuppa, Cake and a Card morning with five ladies in attendance and they all went home with a lovely card ... even if I do say so myself.

Here's the card created by all using the Geared Up Garage stamp set and dies. Colours used were Basic Grey, Whisper White and Baja Breeze.

If you like what you see and you would like to come along next month, then please email me to put your name down. Cost of the morning is $10.00 and includes class kit, coffee/tea and cake. Class size is limited and I would hate you to miss out. The next morning catch up will be Friday March 27th from 9.30am until 11.30am.

Hello to you

My Cuppa, Cake and Card Catch-up was very well received last Friday and a special shout out and thank you to the ladies who attended. We had a lovely morning creating and sipping beverages all served up with a slice of Raspberry and Almond cake. Here's the card that the ladies made last week using the very lovely Beautiful Friendship set by Stampin' Up!

This month's class is fully booked which is wonderful. I'm enjoying the challenge of coming up with a card every month and prepping for the day. Here's a sneak peak for this month's catch-up .. a card for the males in your life especially if they are a car enthusiast!

I will be sending everyone who has made a booking an email so that you can confirm your seat and if any vacancies become available I will let you know. Alternatively if you would like to be placed on a 'wait' list, please let me know.

Have a lovely week and let's hope the weather brings some much needed rain to our dams and to the country communities where it is so badly needed.

Happy New Year and a Happy New Decade to you my lovelies!

Twenty Twenty ... how amazing does this year sound! I can't help but wonder what  some clever person will dub this decade? It was the "Roaring Twenties" back last century, perhaps it will be called the Techno Twenties or the Twerking Twenties as one of my close friends suggested lol ... we will have to wait and see!

It's been quite a few years since I held an event of any kind at my house but over the last month or two I have been thinking about getting back into the swing of all things creative and holding social mornings in 2020. These would run along the lines of  A Cuppa, Cake and Card Mornings and would be held monthly or bi-monthly depending on interest.

On these mornings, you will enjoy a friendly chat with other like minded ladies, over a coffee and homemade cake. You will also have the opportunity of creating a greeting card and you will be provided with a card kit containing all the materials necessary. My aim is to keep these cards clean and simple using mostly Stampin' Up! product.

These social mornings would be held from 9.30 till 11.30 at my house and the cost would be $10.00. All you would need to bring is yourself and perhaps your tool kit.

If all goes well and I get a good response, the first Cuppa, Cake and Card Morning will be held on Friday January 31st and will be limited to 8 attendees. If this idea sounds good to you, please contact me to book your place.

I wish each and everyone of you a very happy, healthy and creative year and I look forward to seeing you at the first Cuppa, Cake and Card Morning of 2020.

Good Morning Lovelies

Just a quick visit to share a thank you card that I made using the First Frost Suite.

Even though this was part of the 2018 Holiday release it is a stamp set for all seasons. The papers are from the Share What You Love Suite, a current DSP and the Mellow Moss Ribbon is a retired ribbon. The greeting is from the Mixed Borders stamp set. I have added a little texture with the Country Floral Embossing Folder which is a Sale-a-bration freebie. There is still time to get your hands on this limited release embossing folder, just contact me to place your order of $90.00 to qualify.

It's sometimes very difficult to create cards for the men in your lives but with the release of the fabulous Classic Garage Suite, masculine cards have never been easier.

The colours in this 6 x 6 paper pack are fantastic not to mention the stamp set, framelits and other accessories but the best thing of all is that they coordinate perfectly with one another, Stampin' Up! have done all the hard work for us.

How incredible that both these cards were made using the same papers, stamps and dies from the one suite and they are so totally different to one another. This makes the Classic Garage Suite a great all round set for all the men in your lives.

Contact me if you like to know more or even to place an order. I can have it posted direct to you and remember with every order of $90.00 you can choose a free Sale-a-bration product up until the end of March!

I'm so glad that the First Frost stamps and dies carried over because I have had such fun creating with them.

Don't you just love the Share What you Love Designer Series Papers and the Country Floral embossing folder, don't they go perfectly together ... so so pretty. Colours are Mint Macaron, Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron and Blushing Bride. I love the Linen Braided ribbon, it gives that rustic cottage feeling to any project.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Hello to anyone out there who still checks out my blog. Can't say I blame you for not checking in too much these day, my posts are few and far between.

I thought I would share a card that I have just finished creating for a special person, using the Tropical Chic stamp set and dies.

I love the colours in this card. Shades of teal and turquoise, greens and greys with a little touch of silver gilding flakes which sadly are not from Stampin' Up!

The card is a construction card called a box card and you can find the instructions HERE at Sally Stampers. The beauty of this card is that it folds flat to put in an envelope and then pops up for easy display. It's not hard to make because if I can make it anyone can. Give it a go!

Happy stamping to you all.

Good Morning

It's a little windy here in Brisbane today and the temperature has dropped this morning making for a very pleasant day. Before I have my morning coffee, I wanted to share a Christmas card I have made using the Frosted Floral Suite.

This pretty card is now winging it's way to my Aunt who lives in England and whom we are going to visit next year in May ... so excited!

Now it is not your normal Christmas card but I love the colours. I have used the First Frost Stamp set and the Frosted Bouquet Framelit Dies which lend themselves to any occasion as well as Christmas. The Frosted Floral Suite can be found on page 4 of the current Holiday mini. Colours used were Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Mellow Moss and a retired colour called Cool Carribean ... sorry!  All products are Stampin' Up!

It's a gorgeous winter's day here in Brisbane and it's perfect weather for me and a perfect day to share a card with you all out there in cyber world.

This was the very first set that I bought from the new catalogue. I love flowers and images such as these are perfect for many occasions. I stamped the background words in Smoky Slate using the Handwritten background stamp. All other images are from the Varies Vases set found on page 45 of the catalogue. The Stitched Circle is Smokey Slate card embossed with the new Subtle embossing folder, my second purchase from the new catalogue. You can see some new Rose Metallic Thread and gorgeous sequins also retired.

Hello and a happy day to you..
