Simply Sketchin' Saturday

 

Two posts in one day ... I haven't done that in awhile. But I thought I would share a card that I made for the second Simply Sketchin' Saturday Facebook group. Here is this week's sketch #SSS2:

  

This is my interpretation of the sketch.  I did change the orientation of my card though. I have used Stampin' Up! cardstock in Whisper White and Lemon Lime Twist and the ombre background was created using Lemon Lime Twist ink and my trusty brayer. All other products are non-Stampin' Up!

 

 

This card has a cheery and happy feel to it and it shall be going to a special person celebrating their birthday later in January.

WELCOME TO 2022

Happy New Year to all or anyone that still follows my sad little blog that doesn't get updated very often because it's owner is a little slack!

So with a new year comes a new Occasions mini and a new Sale-a-bration offer with lots of lovely new goodies in both catalogues. 

You will find links to the catalogues over to the right and below is a pretty card made with Flowing Flowers from the new Occasions Mini. I made this card for a challenge over on the new Simply Sketchin' Saturday Group on Facebook and this is sketch #SSS1. 

 

 

I'm going to try to keep up with the challenges each week (LOL)  in the hope that it will give me a stash of cards for the year ahead. On the group you can use any products so I will be sharing cards that aren't all Stampin' Up! products.
