LOOK WHAT CAME IN THE POST TODAY

I'm so excited ... no it's not my invite to Will and Kate's wedding ... although I secretly wish it was  ... it's my invite to  Manager's Reception at the 2011 Stampin' Up! Convention in Melbourne in a couple of weeks. I achieved Manager status right at the last minute thanks to my good friend Tracy rejoining. Thanks Tracy :)

This can be my card of the week because I'm busy prepping for my upcoming class and also making swaps for Convention, which I can't show you right now. I have no idea who made all these invites, but lovely choice of colours don't you think .. Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant and Daffodil Delight and the stamp set is Eastern Blooms

I'm still excited about the Royal Wedding though as I have front row seats this Friday night thanks to my son ... thanks Jay Baby; we'll be watching it on his huge Plasma while he is off at a mate's place ... not by choice :)

60TH BIRTHDAY CARD

Our friend Peter turns 60 next Monday and has always loved the beach and Combi's so this was the inspiration for this week's card.

The paper on this card is by Kaisercraft and the surfboards are from the matching 6x6 pack called Seaside Collection. I have used Stampin' Up! More Mustard, Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla cardstock. I coloured the '60th' with Brilliance Pearlescent Poppy and I embellised the card with Stampin' Up! Hemp Twine and More Mustard Brads. I also used the Modern Label and Decorative Label punches and the Punch Windows Movers and Shapers die. The image of the Combi was sourced on the internet.

Happy 60th Pete!

STAMP CLUB IS OVER

My 2010/2011 Stamp Club has now finished so I can share with you the little pressies that I made for the girlsas a thank you for participating in this year's club.

Each bag contained a little decorated clock from Ikea.

and a Stampin' Up! Stampin' Store container which had a Fry's Turkish Delight inside. Never throw out your empty button containers, they come in very handy.

Colours used in the gifts were Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White. Buttons are all from the Brights Designer Buttons. Words of wisdom on the clock face are from Fifth Avenue Floral and I also used Upsy Daisy but it's very hard to see. I used the Large and Extra Large Scallop Circle Punches, Designer Label Punch and 1.1/4" adn 1.3/8" Circle Punches.  I also used the Circles #2 Originals Die, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Pompom Trim.

Thank you so much for your support ladies, you helped me reach $20,000 in sales this year which makes it five years in a row that I have sold over $20,000.00. Very exciting!

Happy Stamping!

IT'S MY BABY'S BIRTHDAY

I cannot believe that my beautiful baby daughter, Chelle Belle is 20 today, well at around 4pm this arvo she will be :) Can you see Sammy Puppy getting in on the action?

Love her new blue dressing gown, it came in pink also .... may have to make another trip back to the shops :)

Now here's her card.

The paper is from the Brights DSP Patterns Stack and the button is from the Brights Designer Buttons. I created the cake using my Cricut Celebrations cartridge and the greeting is from Verve Stamps. I also used the Scallop Square Bigs die and some Nesties. The cake is embossed with the Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and other cardstock colours are Bashful Blue and Melon Mambo. The swirly stamp in the background is one I borrowed from a friend. Oh and you can also see a bit of Linen Thread and a touch of bling, not too mention some black ribbon and acetate which is almost invisible!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELSEA JANE!
