A BIRTHDAY CARD FOR FRANCES

I think this will make two cards that I've uploaded this week, which is a pretty good effort for me.

This card I made for my friend Frances. Frances used to be a member of my Stampin' Up! pINK Ladies team but had to resign last year. She still comes along to our monthly team meetings because it's still all about sharing our creations and because we love having her. In fact a couple of the girls who used to be in my team still come along to the meetings. Here's the front of the card:

And this is the inside of the card:

I've used quite a lot of different elements on Frances's card and you can see some new product here which is due for release on April 1st in the Autumn Winter Mini. It is the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder which I have used on both the outside and inside of the card. I have also used the Bigz Square Scallop Square from the current Stamin' Up! Summer Mini which finishes on March 31st. Ialso used some Nestabilities for the circles and the roses were created using the MFT Die-namics Rolled Flower die. I did add some Stampin' Up! Pearls to the centre of the roses but unfortunately the photo of the card with them on it was just too blurry, so I had to go with this photo as the card has made its way to Frances's house :).

Colours used are Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy and Whisper White. I have used 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Marina Mist. Stamps used were Stampin' Up! Bella Toile Background Stamp and the greetings are from Verve Stamps. The leaves were created using stamps and a die from Papertrey Ink. You can also see a gorgeous 4"Doiley that I sponged with Crumb Cake, Marina Mist and Not Quite Navy inks.

Happy Birthday Frances!

CARD OF THE WEEK

Look Belinda ... I'm early this week, bet this is a surprise for you and everyone else.

This weeks card is for my new great neice Maddison Leila Ditchman. She was welcomed into the world last Thursday 17th March.

Here's the front of the card:

and here's the inside of the card:

The paper used on this card is Sweet Always which is now retired unfortunately. Colours are Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White. I have used New Arrivals Cartridge to cut out the baby and the little tag was created with the small and large Tag punches and the Punch Bunch Sale-a-bration set. I have used the Eyelet Border punch to create the white lace and on the inside I used the Lacey Circles Nestabilities.

BTW it's not too late to place your $100.00 order for Sale-a-bration and earn yourself a free stamp set, Contact me to find out how.

CARD OF THE WEEK 18/3/11

I'm back again. Haven't made too many cards of late because I haven't been home :(

Here's a card I made about a month ago for my friend Lynne. Now I pretty much always make Lynne a blue card but this year I created one with butterflies, because I know she likes them.

This gorgeous paper is from Upsy Daisy Designs Blossom Range. The greeting is a retired Stampin' Up! set called Mixed Greetings. The Doiley is by Martha Stewart, ribbon is Mellow Moss Taffeta (retired) and the butterflies are from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits. I have also used Nestabilities Ovals.

There you go Miss Belinda :)

JUST MARRIED ... NOT ME

Good Morning again everyone

Just catching up on my blog because I've fallen a little bit behind with my Card a Week promise.

and now for the inside:

This card is for a friend of Paul and Kristii's who eloped to Thailand, very romantic but if I was her Mum I would be a little bit sad :(

I have used the Cricut Tie the Knot cartridge for the saying and the heart. I have used Nestabilites to cut the large rectangle and scalloped rectangle. The greeting is from Hero Arts and the paper is one from stash and I think it was by Sandylion.

WHAT WAS INSIDE THE BOX

It was a little cupcake made out of a face washer.

All products are from Stampin' Up! except the washer :). Paper is Elegant Soiree and card was Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Sahara Sand. Inks were Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. I have used the Jewellery Tag medium, Eyelet Border, 1.1/4"Circle, 1.3/4" Scallop Circle and the Boho Blossoms Punches. The Cup Cake tag was made using theBid Bold Cupcakes Sizzlits. Finally Linen Thread and very Vanilla 5/8" Satin Ribbon ... I love the Satin Ribbon.
